Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what AIMirror collects, why we process it, how long we retain it, and what is shared when you connect AIMirror to services such as ChatGPT.
1. Data We Collect
AIMirror collects behavioural interaction data needed to analyse a website or application, such as clicks, scrolls, hover interactions, interface state, session metadata, and structural information about the analysed interface. Customers are responsible for configuring AIMirror and their own sites so that unnecessary personal information is not submitted.
2. How We Use Data
- To produce UX, accessibility, friction, and behavioural insights for the customer that owns the project.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the AIMirror service.
- To enforce account, usage, and plan entitlements.
3. Behavioural Analysis
AIMirror analyses interaction patterns to identify usability problems such as hesitation, navigation friction, inaccessible controls, dead clicks, and confusing task flows. This analysis is intended to improve the experience of a product or service. AIMirror must not be used for unlawful surveillance, discriminatory profiling, or decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. ChatGPT and MCP Connector
If you explicitly connect your AIMirror account to ChatGPT or another compatible MCP client, the client may request read-only access to projects you are authorised to access. The connector exposes derived UX insights and aggregate project information only. It does not expose raw event streams, visitor fingerprints, session identifiers, stored recordings, ingestion credentials, internal database identifiers, raw HTML examples, or stored fix payloads.
Connector access requires OAuth permission and can be revoked through the connected account or application controls provided by the relevant service. Information returned through the connector is then handled by the connected service under that service's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Legal Basis and Customer Responsibilities
AIMirror customers are responsible for determining the lawful basis that applies to collection and analysis on their own sites and for providing any notices or consent required in their jurisdiction. Where AIMirror acts as a service provider or processor, data is handled to provide the service on the customer's instructions and for legitimate operational purposes such as security and abuse prevention.
6. Data Storage and Service Providers
AIMirror uses infrastructure and service providers to host the application, authenticate users, store project data, and perform analysis. Data may be processed in regions used by those providers. We apply technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service and limit access to data needed to operate AIMirror.
7. Cookies and Authentication
AIMirror uses cookies and similar technologies required for authentication and operation of the service. For more information, see our Cookie Policy. AIMirror does not use the connector to place advertising or marketing trackers on analysed users.
8. Data Retention
Retention depends on the customer's plan and the type of data involved. Project data may be deleted when a project or account is deleted, subject to limited backups, security records, legal obligations, and operational records that may need to be retained for a reasonable period.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information relating to you. Requests can be sent to privacy@aimirror.dev.
10. Children's Privacy
AIMirror is not intended to be used to knowingly profile children or collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law. Customers deploying AIMirror in services used by minors are responsible for the additional legal requirements that apply to their use case.
11. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy as AIMirror changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
